We are Karen and Jef, a husband and wife team based in Southend.

Despite being a two-man team we have a huge range of items and are one of the few businesses in the country to stock the entire alphabet in illuminated letters and as far as we are aware the only one in the country to have the entire alphabet in three different sizes and fonts.

We have resisted the urge to take on staff which means you will always be dealing with us personally from the initial communication to the set up and collection of your hire items. Unfortunately this means we will sometimes have to turn down an enquiry rather than try to fulfil it with hired help as this is the only way we can ensure our quality of service is maintained.

We are proud of our range of hire items many of which are original designs and custom built to our specification.

We understand that your wedding day is possibly the most important day of your life and whilst everybody is working to a budget no one wants to take a risk on a cheap deal they saw on the internet.

Having gone through all the planning for our own wedding we perfectly understand trying to achieve the balance between value, quality and peace of mind.

The phrase "you get what you pay for" is often used but generally only by the most expensive suppliers! And whilst it may be tempting to think that the most professional supplier is the one with the flashiest website, a fleet of new vans, teams of staff and impressive wedding fayre displays, don't forget that someone has to pay for that and ultimately it has to be paid for by the customer.

Because most of our work comes from word of mouth and recommendations from satisfied customers we do not have the same advertising overheads that other businesses have which allows us to keep our costs low.
